Recycling and Waste Reduction Grant Program
General Description: Funding available for the purchase of recycling equipment and the support of other recycling and source reduction programs.
Eligible Applicants: Available to cities, counties or multi-jurisdictional solid waste authorities.
Program Requirements: Applications are graded and selected on the basis of project impact and funding availability.
Available Funds: Maximum grant amount is $25,000 for a single jurisdiction and $50,000 for multi-jurisdictions.

Solid Waste Loan Program
General Description: Low interest loans made for composting, recycling, and solid waste management.
Eligible Applicants: Available to cities, counties or multi-jurisdictional solid waste authorities.
Program Requirements: Successful applicants must demonstrate the following:
- Environmental certification.
- An approved solid waste management plan.
- Ability to repay the loan.
Available Funds: The maximum loan amount for a single project is $2 million and there is no application deadline.
