Code of Ordinances

Annual Subscription Service

Who may subscribe?

Local governments that had the RDC develop a Code of Ordinances for them during the past year are eligible for this service.

Why subscribe?

The subscription service is an easy and cost-effective method for keeping your jurisdiction's code up-to-date.

What is included in the service?

The subscription service provides for no less than quarterly updates of a jurisdiction's code, depending on volume of local ordinances, to include all new and revised ordinances in the existing code. Also included are any changes in Georgia Law that pertain to your jurisdiction.

What is the cost?

The fee for this service is $17 per page and assumes that the local government provides the RDC with copies, preferably digital, of all new local ordinances and ordinance revisions. For example, your jurisdiction adopts several new ordinances during the year. The total number of pages of all the new ordinances is 25. Your subscription service cost for the year is $425. The RDC is responsible for securing copies of General Assembly legislation. The fee includes the cost to update the Table of Contents and the Index as well as providing you and the State Law Library with one copy of the updated pages for insertion into your code book.
