Available Data Layers
Northeast Georgia Planning creates, maintains, and collects numerous GIS data sets covering each city and county within our region. These data sets are available to our local governments and consultants working for local, regional, state or federal planning projects, as well as the general public with a formal Data License Agreement. All data sets are in ESRI formats. Local data such as tax parcels are not made available without express written approval from the responsible local government agency. Additional state and federal data sets are available at the Georgia GIS Clearinghouse, including wetlands, census data and digital orthophotography (geo-referenced aerial photography).
GIS data layers are available for the following counties:

- Elbert
- Greene
- Jackson
- Jasper
- Madison
- Morgan
- Newton
- Oconee
- Oglethorpe
- Walton
GIS data layers are also available for selected cities within these counties.
